No matter which car you have, ball joints are going to wear out. That's why we make ours twice as strong to keep you riding. They are made with 4340 Chromoly steel! These are easily greased with a zerk fitting for less headache and increased reliability before riding.

No matter which car you have, ball joints are going to wear out. That's why we make ours twice as strong to keep you riding. They are made with 4340 Chromoly steel! These are easily greased with a zerk fitting for less headache and increased reliability before riding.

1. Place the new ball joint in the freezer for an hour, or two
2. Jack car up off the ground
3. Remove wheel
4. Remove the lower A-arm
5. Use a 24mm socket and a hammer to tap the ball joint out with the stem facing downward
6. Get the new ball joint out of the freezer
7. Use a C clamp/ball joint press (with BRP cylinder) to press the new ball joint back in place
8. Reinstall the A-arm and the wheel

*** We always recommend replacing all of your ball joints at the same time. Or at least both upper, or both lower at the same time. ***
